UFC 288 will stream live from Newark, New Jersey, on May 6, with bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling set to defend his title against Henry Cejudo. The main card of UFC 288 will be a pay-per-view event, and you can order it to watch on ESPN+ for $80.
Sterling has successfully defended the bantamweight belt twice so far, with his last win coming via second round knockout against T.J. Dillashaw. Sterling has won eight straight fights dating back to 2018, while his challenger Cejudo is returning from his retirement in 2020. Cejudo was once the bantamweight and flyweight champion, defending both titles at the same time. His record includes six straight wins before his retirement and a 32-second knockout of Dillashaw.
Also on the main card, Gilbert Burns will fight Belal Muhammad, less than a month after Burns defeated Jorge Masvidal by decision at UFC 287. Muhammad's last fight came in October 2022, when he knocked out Sean Brady. Muhammad has won his last four fights and hasn't lost since 2019, though he withdrew from a fight with current UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards due to an eye poke.
How to watch UFC 288 in the US
You can watch the main event of UFC 288 on ESPN+ at 10 p.m. ET on May 6. The main card requires an ESPN+ subscription ($10/month) and an extra pay-per-view fee of $80.
Before the main event, the early prelims will air at 6:30 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass, and the prelims will be broadcast at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN+.
The ESPN+ app is available on all major mobile and streaming devices, including Amazon Fire, Apple, Android, Chromecast, PS4, Xbox One, Roku, Samsung smart TVs, and more.
