Nokia 7 3 render onleaks

  • Renders and specs of the Nokia 7.3 have leaked.
  • It could be the first phone to get the Snapdragon 690 chip.
  • There is no word on price and availability.

Nokia’s 2020 flagship phone might be delayed, but that hasn’t stopped the Finnish smartphone maker from launching other mainstream phones. The Nokia 8.3 with the Snapdragon 765G chipset just went official in the US after a half-year delay. Now, we hear the Nokia 7.3 is also in the pipeline.

The upcoming Nokia mid-ranger has leaked completely thanks to tipster OnLeaks and IPEEWorld. It features the same design as the Nokia 8.3, but runs on the Snapdragon 690 chipset instead. The Snapdragon 690 is a fairly new Qualcomm chip that brings 5G at a lower price than the Snapdragon 7 and 8-series 5G silicon. We haven’t seen any phones equipped with the new chip just yet, so the Nokia 7.3 could be the first to get it.

Elsewhere, the Nokia 7.3 features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole on the left of the screen. It also gets four rear cameras inside a circular housing, just like the Nokia 8.3. However, it substitutes the 64MP main camera with a 48MP primary sensor. The dual flash module is situated at the left of the camera housing, and there’s a 24MP shooter upfront.

A 4,000mAh battery with 18W charging powers the phone. It comes with a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

There’s no word on the price and availability of the Nokia 7.3. However, it could appear alongside the rumored Nokia 9.3 flagship in the fourth quarter of this year. With the delays that HMD Global is facing this year, it’s anyone’s guess if the Nokia 7.3 will become available right after launch or if it’ll be delayed like other 2020 Nokia phones.
