- A 39-year-old woman who lost her father to the novel coronavirus made an emotional speech at the Democratic National Convention on Monday, saying that he died because of President Donald Trump's failure to respond to the pandemic.
- "He had faith in Donald Trump," Kristin Urquiza said of her late father. "He voted for him, listened to him, believed him and his mouthpieces when they said that coronavirus was under control and going to disappear."
- She added that her father died after going to a karaoke bar in Arizona shortly after the state lifted its stay-at-home order in May.
- "My dad was a healthy 65 year old," Urquiza said. "His only preexisting condition was trusting Donald Trump, and for that, he paid with his life."
