OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Buds will be launching alongside the OnePlus Nord tomorrow, marking the firm’s first TWS earbuds. The Chinese brand has already teased several features, including endurance and fast charging, but it looks like the firm may have accidentally revealed the design ahead of launch.
Frequent tipster and XDA-Developers writer Max Weinbach found numerous renders of the earbuds and charging case inside a OnePlus Buds APK file bundled with the latest OnePlus 8 update. Check out the images in the tweet thread below.

The images show a charging case that looks pretty similar to that of stablemate Vivo’s TWS earbuds, down to the green light (albeit on the other side of the case), solitary button, and shape. Check out the Vivo TWS Neo buds below.
We also get a good look at the OnePlus Buds itself, which seem to have their own identity for the most part. Check them out below.

Android Police and 9to5Google also combed through the app and found references to more functionality, such as translation capabilities, active noise control, quick pairing, Dolby Atmos support, and sound profiles.
Toss in these aforementioned features with previously touted endurance of over seven hours (or 30 hours via the charging case) and fast charging capabilities, and you’ve got a rather intriguing pair of true wireless earbuds. We’ll need to wait until tomorrow (July 21) for all-important pricing and other details, but hopefully the OnePlus Buds deliver in a big way.
