A US F-15 C Eagle fighter jet has crashed into the North Sea with one pilot aboard during a training mission that went wrong.
The jet crashed at around 9.40 a.m. Monday local time. It was part of the US Air Force's 48th Fighter Wing and was based out of the Royal Air Force (RAF) base at Lakenheath, in Suffolk, England.
