- Donald Trump has changed his mind again with regard to how many lives he claims his government has saved during the coronavirus pandemic.
- "Hopefully we're going to come in under that 100,000 lives lost," the US president said on Friday before leaving the White House for a weekend at Camp David.
- Weeks ago he said up to 200,000 Americans are likely to die from the coronavirus, then he changed that figure to 60,000.

Donald Trump made more questionable claims on Friday about his administration's response to the pandemic — but, yet again, without providing data to support his claims about how many lives his team has saved.
He again claimed his government has "saved hundreds of thousands of lives," before inflating that claim first to 1 million, then 1.5 million, then 2.1 million, and then 2.5 million lives saved.
