Future Is Donating Face Masks To Hospital Workers & Patients
According to CNN, Future is reportedly partnering with a sewing organization to provide face masks to hospital workers and patients through his “Mask On” campaign.
The Atlanta rapper’s foundation “FreeWishes Foundation” said the need for medical equipment during the coronavirus pandemic was “critical” and wanted to step up and do something about it.
“As most people adapt to the new normal of staying quarantined to protect themselves from the coronavirus, healthcare professionals do not have this privilege..In addition, they do not even have enough supplies to protect themselves from contracting the coronavirus.”
Atlanta Sewing Style has reportedly organized a team of 500 to make and deliver the masks.
Hysteria over the spread of the novel coronavirus has led to mask shortages all across the country and parts of world impacted by the virus. The crazy demand led to price gouging and made them more difficult to obtain for American health care workers, who need the masks more than the average citizen.
Celebrities and athletes all across the world are pitching in and coming up with creative ways to help those in need during this pandemic.
