- Kobe Bryant's body has been released back to his family, more than a week after he was killed in a helicopter crash, according the the LA County Medical Examiners office.
- No official plans for a public funeral have been released yet, but Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti told ABC7, he's looking at ways to memorialize the star Lakers player.
- A memorial is planned for February 10 for three other victims of the crash, according to the Associated Press.
