‘See You Yesterday’ Film Produced By Spike Lee Lands On Netflix
Just based off the photo alone, Netflix is guaranteed our time when See You Yesterday drops.
Spike Lee and his longtime protege Stefon Bristol have come together as producer and director, respectively, to bring their brand of Black science-fiction to Netflix according to Shadow And Act. The drama will mark Bristol’s directorial debut and will star other first-time flyers Eden Duncan-Smith and Danté Crichlow (seen in above photo).
The story centers around Eden’s character, Claudette “C.J.” Walker, and Danté’s character, Sebastian J. Thomas, who build time-travel machines in order to save Sebastian’s older brother from being killed by a cop.
Spike and Stefon’s feature-length film is an adaptation from an HBO short film that was a finalist in the American Black Film Festival in 2017. Peep the trailer to the short below.
We’re definitely here for a full-length See You Yesterday, how bout you?
