- The rapper said it "took me a year and a half to have the confidence" to declare his support for the US president.
- West upset people this year by declaring support for Trump, and, separately, suggesting that slavery was "a choice."
Kanye West said he "can't explain love" when asked about his support for Donald Trump in a wild interview that aired last night.
The response was part of a long tangent by West, who ultimately did not give a definitive answer to a question by TV host Jimmy Kimmel, who asked whether he thought Trump was "a good president."
