Netflix
- Netflix's "Stranger Things" will return on air for its third season sometime in 2019.
- This means fans have to wait more than a year between seasons once again.
- During the Netflix panel at a Television Critics Association (TCA) event, vice president of original programming Cindy Holland explained some of the reasons behind this gap.
- Holland said the creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, "want to deliver something bigger and better than what they did last year."
- "They want to take the time to get it right," Holland said. "I think it's going to be a fantastic season. It's going to be worth the wait."
- There are also a lot of "special effects" elements that take more time to produce.
