Skiing events at the 2022 Winter Olympics began on February 5 and run through February 20. All events are streaming live on Peacock and you can also catch select events on NBC and USA.

There are six disciplines of skiing included in this year's Olympics: alpine, biathlon, cross-country, freestyle, Nordic combined, and ski jumping.

Alpine skiing, or ski racing, includes events in downhill, slalom, giant slalom, and super-g. Biathlon events feature a combination of cross-country elements with target shooting. Freestyle skiing combines speed and acrobatics and includes aerials, mixed team aerials, big air, halfpipe, moguls, ski cross, and slopestyle. Nordic combined events include cross-country skiing and ski jumping.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin crashed out in the first run of her first alpine event, the giant slalom. Shiffrin hopes to rebound in her second event, slalom, which begins at 9:15 p.m. ET on February 8.

Meanwhile, freestyle skier and two-time Olympic gold medalist David Wise is hoping to defend his halfpipe title. Another Team USA halfpipe skier, Alex Ferreira, could bring home a medal as well.

How to watch Olympic skiing

Every skiing event at the 2022 Beijing Olympics is being streamed live on Peacock Premium. You can sign up for a Peacock Premium plan for $5 a month.

Some skiing events are also airing on NBC and USA. If you have access to NBC through a pay-TV provider, you can stream those events on the NBC or NBC Sports app, and on NBCOlympics.com.

If you don't already have NBC through cable or satellite, you can watch NBC's broadcast coverage on a live TV streaming service, like Sling TV, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, or Youtube TV.

Sling's Blue plan is the most budget-friendly option of the bunch. It costs $35 a month and new customers can get their first month for $10. This plan includes NBC and USA.

Note: NBC is only available in select markets, so be sure to check availability on Sling's website first.
