- 👀👀👀Matt Damon said he finally stopped using the word 'f----t' a few months ago after his daughter wrote a 'treatise' on why he shouldn't use the homophobic slur. He told The Sunday Times the word "was commonly used when I was a kid, with a different application."
- Thanksgiving is going to be awkward. GOP Rep. Paul Gosar's siblings denounced him in a scathing op-ed: 'Have you no sense of decency, Paul?' They said Gosar's "lifelong, insecure need for the approval of others" may have caused him to sacrifice "decency and integrity to satisfy Trump."
- Warning from Tennessee. Tennessee GOP rep who rejected masks now says COVID-19 is 'real and dangerous' after his 8-month battle with the virus. David Byrd once shunned masks, but is now urging people to take the COVID-19 threat seriously after his near-fatal 8-month battle with the virus.
- Dorsey goes after Afterpay. Jack Dorsey's Square agreed to buy Afterpay, which has a 'buy now, pay later' service, for $29 billion in stock. Square, in which Twitter CEO Dorsey holds a large stake, said Afterpay's buy now, pay later service would be added to its Seller and Cash app products.
- Barack's big bash. Obama is throwing his 60th birthday party on Martha's Vineyard with hundreds of guests amid Delta variant concerns. The party will be outdoors, guests are asked to be vaccinated and tested for COVID-19, and there will be a "COVID-coordinator," sources told Axios.
